State Government investment
The AARP was developed with a $28 million investment from the Western Australian government.
Developed and managed by DevelopmentWA, the State Government of Western Australia’s land development agency, the AARP is operated by CORE Innovation Hub.
The test beds became operational in 2023 with the Headquarters building officially opening in November 2024.

Globally linked, locally relevant
The AARP leverages the significant strengths of Western Australia.
The state-of-the-art facilities support local, national and global companies. Users are able to use one of the test beds, and have their project teams working on backend activities in the HQ building, all while connecting in with their head offices or other offices around the world – from the AARP in real time.
In time, it is anticipated that the AARP will service the global robotics and automation ecosystem, alongside other world-leading robotics development hubs such as the US, China, Korea, Singapore and Denmark.
The AARP team
The AARP's team are visionary leaders and innovators whose collective experience and passion create the strongest foundation for the AARP to grow and develop. They are eager to assist to make your project a success.
