Robotics and automation collaboration is already happening

Several innovative test projects are already underway at the AARP, with exciting and dynamic plans for users.

IMDEX, the Precinct’s first major industry partner, is an ASX-listed leading global mining technology company that enables drilling contractors and resource companies to safely find, define and mine orebodies with precision and at speed. The company is headquartered in Perth and operates in all the world’s key mining regions. IMDEX will use the purpose-built precinct to accelerate testing and development of its multi-sensor drill system and other technologies developed in Western...

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) Mining is a US-based robotics firm with leading capability in OEM-agnostic vehicle automation systems. ASI Mining is deploying its Mobius autonomous haulage system (AHS) solution, together with its deployment partner global mining technology leader Epiroc to the Roy Hill mine in the Pilbara, where it is retrofitting the miner’s complete haul truck fleet of 96 trucks. ASI Mining has selected Meridian Park industrial zone at Neerabup, alongside the AARP, as...

Percepto is an industrial inspection company who are utilising AARP to test and evaluate their autonomous drone industrial inspections. Having looked for a location to run system testing that didn’t require travel to a remote site and be granted access, Percepto discovered that AARP offered the ideal location to run evaluations for remote site inspections, vehicle tracking, mapping, modelling, firmware and software testing.
