Realising tomorrow’s technological potential, today
The Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP) is an internationally recognised innovation hub, set on 51ha north of the Perth CBD in Western Australia.
As a leading global destination for technology trailblazers, the AARP offers facilities for testing, research, development and training in autonomous, remote operations, and robotic systems and equipment.
The AARP’s state-of-the-art facilities provide large corporates, small to medium enterprises and startups access to multi-purpose and multi-use test beds for testing and development of robotics and autonomous equipment to accelerate technology development in real-world conditions, without the obstacles of accessing a production environment.
Download Industry ProspectusA unique testing and development environment
The AARP is Australia’s largest operational testing, development and innovation environment. It’s purpose-designed for research and development, testing, and training in automation, remote operations and robotic systems and equipment.
The hub provides local, national and global companies with a unique environment that facilitates testing free from the limitations of real world, on-site activities.
The AARP aims to achieve low carbon/zero-carbon status through use of cutting-edge technologies. It will be serviced by the construction of a renewable energy hub.
A globally linked, locally relevant facility
The AARP leverages the significant strengths of Western Australia to bring together global leaders in the field of automation and robotics.
The AARP provides access to a globally linked and locally relevant test facility, with test laboratories, virtual laboratories and design co labs. In addition, the AARP is firm in its mission to connect all the players critical to innovation – from relevant industry and government stakeholders, to investors and venture capitalists.
A location recognised for industrial technology
Australia is already known worldwide for its early application of industrial robotics and automation technology, particularly across its vast mining and resources sector. The AARP capitalises on the rapid adoption of these new technologies.
The AARP provides companies across a range of industries ready access to facilities and an ecosystem to accelerate commercial advantage, including a supportive environment and tools and training necessary to develop, test and showcase robotics and automation products and processes. In time, we anticipate the AARP will service the global robotics and automation ecosystem, alongside other world-leading robotics development hubs such as the US, China, Korea, Singapore, and Denmark.
