Robopalooza at the AARP

We were thrilled that the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP) was the official venue partner for ROBOPALOOZA 2025 — a globally recognised celebration of robotics, innovation and STEM education.
Taking place October 5-6, 2025 ROBOPALOOZA was more than just a competition — it was a festival of ideas, innovation, and imagination. Hosted in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the event brought together global leaders in robotics and telepresence technologies in an immersive two-day experience.
Following the resounding success of ROBOPALOOZA 2024 in the Mojave Desert in California, this year’s event made history as it landed in Australia for the first time — right in the heart of one of the world’s most advanced testing environments – the AARP.
The program featured a dynamic mix of international competition, STEM outreach, industry showcases, and live entertainment.
AARP’s world-class infrastructure was the perfect stage for showcasing advanced robotics across mining, space, agriculture, and environmental conservation — reinforcing WA’s global reputation in remote operations and innovation.
The event aligned with the Western Australian Government’s strategic initiatives, including the STEM Skills Strategy, Future State and Diversify WA. It also coincided with the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025, inviting global delegates to extend their stay and experience WA’s world-leading robotics capabilities firsthand.

The AARP was proud to host Robopalooza in October 5 – 6 2025
